Quoting Sandra:
“To be psychic is the natural instinctual self that is part of everyone. We are all, also, mediumistic. It is natural as we are spirits still in our earthly bodies and we communicate all the time with one another here on the earth plane. It is not that far of a stretch to commune with spirits who have passed to the spirit realm. That dimension is close to us.”
“I think everyone would do well to develop their intuitive (psychic) abilities.
Mediumship is special and requires work and I do not think it is for everyone to just be open to spirit communication all the time. Mediumship should be respected. Discernment is an important factor. I teach all of my students how to maintain a balanced life as they begin to unfold. A quality life with ethical principles is an important key to positive and beneficial spirit communication. Natural laws apply to this process just as they do in the rest of our lives. ‘Like attracts like’ is a good example of the quality of mediumship each will experience. You should not be fearful or just engaging in it as a game.
Personal guides and teachers are there to assist you and their presence should be given the proper time and place. I like the traditional Spiritualist philosophy that one should keep their appointments with spirit.”
The adventure and learning is endless when you begin to develop these skills. While it should be entered into in a reverent and positive manner, it is also good to enjoy it. Happiness and joy elevate the vibrations and make it easier for communication to occur.
Once on the path to this awareness, it is a journey so enriching that few, if any, ever turn back. It is natural to be in contact with other aspects of yourself. It is the aspect that can save your life and guide you to betterment.”
