The Nine Principles
of Spiritualism

1. We believe in Infinite Intelligence.
2. We believe that the phenomena of  nature, both physical and spiritual, are the expression of Infinite Intelligence.
3. We affirm that a correct understanding of such expression and living in accordance therewith constitute true religion.
4. We affirm that the existence and personal identity of the individual continue after the change called death.
5. We affirm that communication with the so-called dead is a fact, scientifically proven by the phenomena of spiritualism.
6. We believe that the highest morality is contained in the Golden Rule: 'Whatsoever ye would that others should do unto you, do ye also unto them."
7. We affirm the moral responsibility of the individual, and that he makes his own happiness or unhappiness as he obeys or disobeys Nature's physical and spiritual laws.
8. We affirm that the doorway to reformation is never closed against an human soul, here or hereafter.
9. We affirm that the Precepts of Prophecy and Healing contained in the Bible are Divine attributes proven through Mediumship.
To be a minister is to serve through dedication to spiritual principles and concepts. Most religions believe that life continues beyond the death of the physical body and also believe that there is a definite dwelling in another plane or dimension to which we gravitate toward when we leave this Earth existence.
As a minister I am dedicated to honoring that reality and I personally believe that not only do humans go toward that plane, but so does all life.
The realm beyond our known conscious world is encompassing of a like reality to ours where we may commune, work and grow. The levels of evolvement are in line with our needs for growth and comfort, and in each reality we have help and love from the many other spiritual beings who are already there.
Spiritualism teaches the concepts of  Natural Law. The 7th principle states that we are aligned with Nature's physical and spiritual laws and therefore subject to them. This is explained by the energy of the order of the universe and as long as we live in this dimension we are working with that energy. Once that concept is comprehended, life becomes easier to understand and we may then begin to align more comfortably to create harmony and a positive and progressive life.
Metaphysics is about the many mystical realms and is beyond the concept of natural law. To study metaphysics is a life long journey. There are many beliefs, concepts, theories and disciplines and metaphysics is the core of them all.

A GREAT WAY TO HELP YOURSELF, HUMANKIND AND ALL LIFE ON OUR PLANET
is to avoid buying products manufactured by corporations that destroy and cause suffering to make them. Currently, Prctor n Gamble is one of those companies. Read manufacturer lables and choose something better. Who needs to invest in horror and pain? There are many wonderful products from which to select all your household cleaners and supplies.

CHOOSE WISELY
CHOOSE COMPASIONATELY
CHOOSE A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE
CHOOSE TO BE AN EXAMPLE OF PEACE IN YOUR SELECTIONS
CHOOSE TO BE A FORCE OF DISCRIMINATION AS A CONSUMER

Your home becomes a sacred space by your choices.

Daily Global Prayers for Animals

Each day at sunrise, please take a few moments to pray for the animals and to project love and humane treatment for them. For each thought there is a reaction and the more who will do this, the more the likelyhood that changes will take place.

It is always sunrise somewhere in the world, so no matter where you are, at sunrise, you can join this continuous chain, and so keep the love for the animals alive.

JANUARY 2007

A lot of Aquarian energy is abounding right now due to so many planets in this sign. The vibration beaming down upon earth is one of greater awareness of where you fit into the scheme of the world.

A New Year resolution that you can easily keep is to commit to greater alignment with your spirit self. That is easy because it is who you really are. All that you experience in this corporeal world is a manifestation of an aspect of your spirit.

By connecting to your spirit you are going more into the source of which you really are and then you are more centered, more grounded, and more in tune with the divine path that is rightfully yours.

Why would you want to do that?
What can come of it?

The more you are centered and grounded in spirit the easier you are divinely guided and the sooner you reach your goals.

Choose an ideal time and place to sit for a time to commune with your spirit self. If it is only once a week you are meeting the commitment. Do not make the time lengthy, 20 – 40 minutes is sufficient. Sit comfortably and breathe deeply to relax. When you are physically and mentally relaxed you can simply be open to inner visions or guidance. The process continues after you have ended your specified time. Sometimes flashes and impressions occur long after.

State that you accept your highest divine guidance and stay joyful.

This simple process will move you along quickly to be always more consciously connected to your higher mind and spirit.

YOUR MARCH MESSAGE FROM REV. SANDRA HELTON
March 2007

The month swings a two-fold energy which moves between action and reaction, between work and the physical world of duty and responsibility and that of working from a perspective of your spiritual commitments. Life seems to be split and time is the culprit - so it seems.

However, in those small moments alone, when there are pauses, and especially if you feel as if your mind is experiencing something like simply being on hold for a moment, then stop and utilize those moments between actions to find your truth, your strength, and your clear and right decisions upon which to act.

Just recently I had one of those moments and did not heed it. About 30 minutes later I remembered my own words and turned around and went back over my actions to correct what could have been a waste of my time, my worth and even financially. I took a small amount of time to honor that still small moment wherein I knew what to do and it turned out to be very life giving and reinforcing to my spirit. In other words, it was not to late to go back and undo what was the beginning of something that I was allowing which was not for my highest good.

As we move toward the end of the month, each of you can become more aware of your intuitive insight even more. It is the natural process to react to an action, but what action? Now is the time to work more on reacting to spirit messages. Exercise your mystical self!

Your April Message from Rev. Sandra Helton
April 2007
How to Generate an Environment of Peace

Step One

From family arguments to global wars, the world is in a state of great unrest. Sometimes the more profound way to begin to create peace is not with any attempt to enlist calm dialogue or to act differently toward others, but to take a proactive stand about your own environment.

Select items for your keep in your home that are created without violence.
Did you know that the basic household items generate their own vibration that reverberates through your home?

By selecting household products such as cleaners that are from companies which maintain a humane standard will immediately change the energy. Example: The laundry detergent, Tide, is nicknamed, Died, because of the terrible animal tests that are totally unnecessary. The first act of imposing those tests is violent enough in itself, but that it is unnecessary is a form of immorality. So, seek out a laundry detergent and other cleaners that are “peacefully” made. Who needs those harsh chemicals put into clothes, onto counter tops and son on anyway? Certainly not you!

Step Two
Establish a space in your home that represents something that you believe in. It does not have to be a religion, but should reflect that in which you have faith. A direct item would be to place a small alter somewhere, but any space will be just as effective such as a small table or space in a bookcase, or even the kitchen. I have a nice area in my kitchen that holds items sacred to me.

The principle is that if you create a physical place for God to manifest then you have intentionally created a working energy exclusively for that purpose. A pool table is for playing pool, a stove is for cooking food, and so on. A sacred space is for communing and honoring that which is higher and good.

SOMETHING TO MEDITATE UPON

“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.” Carl Jung

The Minister's Message will resume in September.
Thank you for your patience.
