We have the Summer Solstice this month! Neighbors in the southern hemisphere are celebrating the solstice as winter. There is a commonality with both is that the energy of the Sun’s placement is at a peak. During the summer solstice the Sun is closest to earth and at the winter solstice the Sun is at its farthest. The earth is tilted and as it rotates and also revolves around the Sun is why the northern and southern hemisphere experiences the opposite of seasons. The Sun entering the zodiacal sign of Cancer at zero degrees is when the solstice occurs.
