Of all the corporations and sponsors for the Iditarod Dog Race in 2006 it is low to involve children. Here are two, in addition to numerous schools.

A 501(c) (3) organization, the Society & Animals Forum produces educational programs and materials on the relationship between human and nonhuman animals. The ultimate objective of our programs is to reduce violence against human and nonhuman animals. The organization’s activities include providing training workshops; publishing, designing, producing, and distributing journals, professional manuals, and other educational materials; and creating and running advocacy programs.

The horrific and unnecessary experiments perpetrated on animals at some colleges and universities are an environment that is damaging to the psyches of all, and especially young people. It is also abusing students to expect them to attend a school and accept these atrocities. If they do continue after learning about the painful and abusive actions of those “in charge” they have to compromise their principles and all that you have taught them about humanity, or, they become conditioned to the torture and their spirits are diminished.
One such known school who has received publicity for the extent of their crimes is Columbia University. A quality school in not about accreditation, which is often more about money than quality, but is about quality treatment of the students and all involved.
